Harvard chooses hatred, division and plaigurism; Inquiry vote and, the people v. the regime

from The Alan Sanders Show · host The Alan Sanders Show

Today's show opens with breaking news that Harvard's Board has decided they are okay keeping a hate-filled, serial plagiarizing, bigot as President of the institution, rather than admit their support of DEI and CRT ideologies and policies have been a complete disaster. They overlook her transgressions and all of her missteps, stating they have full faith she will champion open discourse and academic freedom on campus. What a joke! We then move to a piece by Jonathan Turley and the upcoming impeaching inquiry vote. He breaks down how much more we have learned since he was last called to testify in September of this year. Three months ago he said the GOP had enough evidence to clear the threshold to ask for a vote of inquiry. Now, in mid-December, we know even more and it's beyond the shadow of a doubt. The real question is whether a single Democrat in the House will vote for the investigation? In a somewhat surprise move, Special Counsel Jack Smith has asked the Supreme Court to rule quickly on whether Donald Trump can be prosecuted on charges he plotted to overturn the 2020 election results. This step is literally trying to leap over the appeals process and get straight to the Supreme Court before the November 2024 election cycle. This is all about trying to get a single conviction beforehand, no matter what the cost. As to the Israel-Hamas war, Secretary of State Antony Blinken was forced to state some truth, thanks to Biden's stance of supporting Israel. Blinken told ABC News, "This could be over tomorrow if Hamas got out of the way of civilians -- instead of hiding behind them -- if it put down its weapons, if it surrendered. And what there ought to be...is a call on behalf of the entire world for Hamas to do just that." There's a bit of honesty and a great question we should be asking the rest of the Western world. Also, a CBS News poll says only 39% of Americans approve of how he is handling the Israel-Hamas war. I believe part of that is the fracture in the Democrat party who is anti-Semitic and hates Israel, while the GOP is worried Biden is going to cave and turn on our closest ally in the region. On Sunday's program, Face the Nation on CBS, Americans say their number one concern for the nation is inflation followed by our open border. Bizarrely, Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) claims Republicans' demand to secure the southern border is "one of the most dangerous moments that I've ever faced in American politics." Talk about extreme exaggeration. What he is really crying about is the move to have separate discussions and spending bills for the border, for Israel and for Ukraine. Biden Budget Director Shalanda Young says she understand the economy is the number one concern, but she assures people everything is great "at the macro level" and "it's gonna take time" for you little people to realize that. It's shameful the lies these people tell and the imaginary world they paint for themselves. At a gathering, President Biden is fooled by his teleprompter once again. He believes it has been 65 years since the October 7 attack. Not days, but years! Finally, we have another positive story out of the state of Missouri. Seems State Attorney General Andrew Bailey has told Media Matters he is bringing them under investigation for their manipulation and propaganda of X (formerly Twitter), targeting their advertisers. If more states Attorney's General would do this, we wouldn't have to wait on the Federal government to get it's act together and I hope more follow suit.
