S2 Ep 29: Haste Makes Waste is a very insightful interview with luxury curator Troy, brand creator and founder of G. TheBuildr, which specializes in antique rehabbing, interior staging and custom made furniture. In this interview, you can hear Troy detail her upbringings of how she got her start at building things at the tender age of seven and how her love of "everything handy" fully blossomed when it came time to furnishing her home. Tapping back into those natural skills, Troy set out to build her furniture, room by room and finally completing her bedroom with a hand crafted vanity set, thus launching her business of October 2017.  Also heard in this interview, is Troy's journey and discovery of spirituality and how she grew up as a Jehovah's Witness and because her "lifestyle" and homosexuality not being accepted, caused her to part ways with the religion and come into her own understanding of self and her embarking on her own spirituality of what it is and means to her.  Currently, Troy is rebranding her business as she details the importance of investing in your dreams and following your passions. Troy truly believes in the saying, "Haste makes Waste," and how pivotal it is to take your time, not only while creating but when developing your craft and how taking the time out everyday, to work on your own personal dreams are stepping stones in reaching your end goals.
