Send us Fan MailThis weeks movie is Bad Company, starring Anthony Hopkins and CHRIS ROCK! What you say? How could this be? The same Chris Rock who just got slapped at the Oscars by Will Smith? Yes, he starred in this weeks movie. And this movie was much less interesting than him getting slapped by Mr. Smith. Not to talk about the slap too much but it seems to me that the slap is gonna define Will Smith for next bunch of years but probably won't define Chris Rock much at all. The promo for the show was very silly and the show seemed very much overhyped. But for years after the show I thought about it. How weird the title was. How weird the premise was. A slap is such particular thing. It is almost a contrivance. And we saw one play out on live TV. An unscripted moment that we all get to grind through our own filter. Laying blame as we choose or even choosing not to believe the thing was "real". But a moment that will linger and come to mean different things over time.
