John Travolta's alien antagonist int he movie is laughable, his dialog is terrible and his delivery is unironically comical. The plot is filled with holes and the direction is beyond a mess. But this is one of those movies that you can spend your time laughing at, you can revel in the stupidity. It is a thing you can do to try to survive its stupidity.Hate Watching takes down the easy game.#johnTravolta #battlefieldEarthI guess they just rereleased ET on Imax.  I saw photos of people taking their full size ETs to the showings and buying them seats. Never has Hollywood been happier then the point where fans will buy tickets for inanimate objects. I think it is amazingly cool.  I love when fandoms do their own things. They take over. Sadly they are still beholden to the studios to make them more content but not always. For so long Star Trek fans have written stories and made fan films.
