This movie is so thin that I had forgotten I had even watched it the day after I did watch it. So basically we hated it, no surprise. And a big waste of Mel Gibson, if you didn't think his career is over, this movies proves it. And then there is Ken Jeong, oh man, this movie is a sad testament to where his career has cratered.Hate Watching is a show that goes to places that no one else wants to go. Still I think there is the need for the movie theater experience. Sitting all together and hearing that laughter or other human responses to what is happening on the screen. To see those human face blown up to a scale that is monolithic. People still pay for that in person experience. There are no lack of lines at Disneyland and other themed experiences. Who knows what the future holds but one thing I do know is that the newspaper comic is pretty much dead and never coming back.
