They often claim to be the most hated sports franchise in America, maybe even the world. But recently, when Sonny Gray was traded from the Yankees to the Boston Red Sox, all Hell broke loose when he said it's "easy" to hate the Yankees. SACRILEGE, or maybe a badge of honor. Sure, the Yankees are still big and bad, but not as much as they use to be. Besides, the real hate for this franchise come from the last place you might expect.
