Haunted by a Haunted House
from Dr. Carole's Couch · host Dr. Carole Lieberman
Remember when the scariest things were ghosts and haunted houses? At a time when ebola and terrorism are scaring the pants - and other articles of clothing - off of us, it's comforting to hear nostalgic stories of goblins, witches and poltergeists. Today's guest, William Hall, is the author of the new book, The World's Most Haunted House: The True Story of the Bridgeport Poltergeist on Lindley Street. He was 10 years old in 1974, when this poltergeist in his hometown made headlines around the world. Haunted by it ever since, his research has uncovered never-before-revealed interviews and documents. Today's show is scary enough for Halloween, but not contagious.
