Haunted Masonic Temple Night

Send us Fan Mail A hidden doorway that looks deliberately sealed. A basement that hits like a wave of heat and panic. A smell so specific you can’t “power of suggestion” your way out of it. We’re back for spooky season with Dawn, the leader and owner of Ghost Whispers, to unpack our paranormal investigation at the historic 314 Masonic Temple in McCutcheonville, Ohio and the trail of strange patterns that keeps following us from lodge to lodge. We talk Freemasons and Masonic lodge lore in plain language: why these buildings feel different, how ceremonial rooms and ritual objects shape the atmosphere, and what it’s like to walk as women into spaces that were historically off-limits. Then we get into the moments that made our stomachs drop, from a hotspot in the basement tied to unsettling claims, to sensory experiences that feel physical, immediate, and hard to shake. From there, we go full investigator mode: Estes method sessions, REM pod spikes, and a dual Ouija board experiment with antique boards that turns from “random letters” into a possible French communication. We also get into the wider web of fraternal societies like the Oddfellows, a real skeleton nicknamed Frank, and how haunted artifacts including items connected to Bobby Mackey’s Music World can complicate what’s coming from the location versus what’s coming from what you brought in. We end with a serious note about safety, boundaries, and why chasing proof can slide into something darker if you’re not careful.
