Haunted Sioux Falls Episode 6 Queen Bee Mill
from The Haunted Sioux Falls · host John and Heidi Show
Welcome to Haunted Sioux Falls, I’m your host, John Small. On this episode, we head to the falls... for a look back at our community's history and maybe some parts of history that don't want to stay in the past!. At Falls Park stand the ruins of the Queen Bee Mill, a towering dream turned disaster. Built in the 1880s to process wheat, the mill was supposed to bring prosperity. Instead, poor crops and bad management shut it down in just two short years. Today, its skeletal remains overlook the falls, and many believe they’re haunted. Visitors have reported shadowy figures moving among the stone walls. Others claim to hear machinery clanging, though the mill has been silent for over a century. Some even feel an unseen presence pushing them back from the edge—as if the mill itself resents being abandoned. Skeptics point to wind, echoes, and imagination. But under a full moon, the ruins take on a life of their own. The Queen Bee Mill is a monument to broken dreams… and maybe restless souls.
