Hauntings of Ulster County

As you listen to the podcast, you will dive deeper into the lore and supernatural of Ulster County. In this podcast we interviewed Margaret at the Elting Library in SUNY New Paltz. A haunted house, building or a structure is said to be occupied by ghosts, spirits, and other paranormal forces. It is a popular belief that if a person dies tragically inside a house, their spirit is prone to haunt the house. Skeptics often dismiss the idea of a haunted house and look for a logical and scientific explanation. Haunted houses and other dwellings have  always been an integral part of the horror-genre storytelling, books, movies and TV series. Sometimes not all stories about haunted houses are aimed at scaring people.
