Good morning everyone. Normally I do most of my podcast episodes. I do it early in the morning, some right around, you know, between seven and eight, or max, I think by nine. But today, being afraid to do my Friday Puja, and after I completed my Friday Puja, I was wondering, like, I have already prepared for one of my episodes.
And I also took some notes because I thought, you know, when I put my thoughts on paper, then there is clarity, there is a sequence, there is a direction. So I said, you know, yeah, it's, well, there's, I need to go and make lunch for the day. But at the same time, I said, let me go, look at my notepad, and see, you know, what I can do. So now I'm driven to record this episode.
Let's see how it goes. Okay. Actually, after a couple of hot days, the weather is definitely getting better. It's very nice, very pleasant outside.
I also started some gardening, and some of my plants are coming well. Sometimes they surprise me. Some of them dry away, some of them really, sprout extremely well. So I'm also learning a lot from my gardening.
So, and I think I will. Yeah. So let's go back to this topic. And the topic is, the topic is, have you considered to choose and practice one spiritual value at a time to test how you are evolving?
Okay. I know this might sound a little deep. It's like a deeper topic. What do you mean by spiritual value and all that?
Blah, blah, blah. See, I consider myself, you know, I, to some extent, I do certain religious rituals, but not overly religious. But I, I, I like this something connection with it, something higher power. I'm more connected to some higher power, sound or whatever it is.
So I think I'm very, what is it, curious to know more about spirituality, what does spirituality mean, what does spiritual values. So maybe my curiosity drove me to doing more and more of these Deepak Chopra's 21 day meditation challenges. And today I'm going to cover something from that. So this is about Deepak Chopra's 21 days, activating the divine feminine, the path to wholeness.
So every day after completing the guided audio visual meditation, there are few questions to be answered. So normally what happens is when these, these type of, you know, audio visual programs are there, it's, we tend to, okay, let's look at the video, let's see what's there. If it's, you know, something, if there is a written matter or whatever is the audio or video is being, and then it's, it's sometimes it's boring. And sometimes we don't see the value in writing the exercises, written exercises associated with those programs.
But I, I like to do it. I, I, I, I, I, let's say it's a 21 day meditation. I would do the meditation part all the 21 days, but the writing, I sometimes don't do the same day. First few days I'll do the same day, but the other days I'll slack off.
But then what I do is I write down the questions for myself and then I ponder over it. And then let's say if it's day 16, I might do it on day 18 or day 19, okay? True confession. Okay.
Now, so basically you, so there are few questions to be answered. Basically you're journaling your personal reflections. Let me read the question for day 16 in this program until I just chose one random day, okay? So the question number one was from the following list, pick two spiritual values that you most want to expand in your life and conditional love, divine presence, inspiration, expanded awareness, beauty, bliss, contact with your soul inner peace.
See, some of these words, some, my, I was wondering, wow, there is something called, contact with your soul, all these things, right? So if it's something like a material thing, it's like a tangible thing. Okay, you visualize that, you have it, you want it, you have it, you have it, you have it, you have it, you have it to find ways to get it and whatever it is, okay? Well, these are all intangibles, right?
Unless you do some exercise like this, it's difficult for you to consciously think of that intangible and work on it. But this is, but that is what I could do, by doing this exercise, written exercise. So now my answer, I don't, remember, they're asking you only for two, but then I felt like writing three. So I wrote unconditional love in your peace, expand it awareness.
Question number two, looking at your answers, write down the centering thought that affirms your choice. Such as, they're giving example also, I am unconditional love. I feel divine presence or I and my soul are one. Okay, so they're giving examples and they're saying that you write down the centering thought.
Okay. So and then there's another instruction. Pick one centering thought to meditate on for a month, journaling about your experience every day. This is quite a lot in the second question.
Okay. So what I did was you remember instead of two I picked three and now my, see I'm bringing my child self into it because I feel like taking all the three and writing something. Okay. I don't feel like just picking one.
That's the inner child. Okay. So I picked all the three and what were the three inner piece? I mean the unconditional love inner piece and expanded awareness.
So now this is the centering thought that came up for me and I wrote I practice unconditional love. I just wrote I practice unconditional love. I didn't think too much about it. I just wrote it.
Number two inner piece is my source of happiness and bless that is something I thought about it. I wrote it. Okay. Then the third one is expanded awareness connects me to the unknown and gives me solutions easily and effortless.
These are my centering thought. So what the centering thought? So what the meaning of centering thought now in all his meditation but you're probably always gives one centering thought for the day and he says you keep thinking about that thought. See these are all very good ways for you to get out of your anxiety issues.
You know thinking of some unwanted, some thinking of something in future which is not even going to happen or some thing about the past which is haunting you or whatever. So but then when you do these type of exercises and have one centering thought then you are focusing on the one centering thought because remember you are writing it when you write something it goes from your head to heart and there is a great connection between your head and heart your mind and your emotions. Okay. Alright.
The question number three is looking at the list again underline one spiritual value. You know you would like to begin focusing on a daily activity activity. That means doing part. Okay.
Right down two ways you can start to express this value. So I have written two the way I understood because this is the beauty of these exercises is it's not about how you understand. You're not going to go give an exam and somebody's going to evaluate you and then give you a plus. No, no, no.
It's your unique brilliance your unique self. So I would answer be conscious about where I am giving and receiving unconditional love because I'm going to look for these three things. Unconditional love in your piece expanded awareness. Right.
So be conscious about where I'm giving and receiving unconditional love in your piece and expanded awareness. Number two, bring these phrases in my podcast episodes and that's the reason why I'm going to the podcast on this. So as you can see in the first question it says pick two I pick three I gave myself permission to just listen to my true deeper child self. In a sense self if you observe my answers to the questions to entry you will see that even though I'm asked to pick one I have included the response for three spiritual values I picked.
So I'm just just random it's just my I'm just core connected to my core and I'm just doing it. Why am I sharing all this with you during my morning music and meditation I used to struggle to get the content to create an episode. So this is just I'm giving about this episode. I would struggle with anything else also you know like for example what to cook for the day or maybe what is the three important value producing lifetime value producing activity that I can do today.
So my lower self will put me down with all the reasoning like you know oh Lita don't choose the topic this is boring or no one will listen to you or somebody will make fun of you. These are all my lower self stock self talk okay then I would go back to the source why I started the podcast and as you can recall I started when I turned 16 I said I want to help people explore the magnificent self in them. That's about it boom. So go back to the source.
So to do that I realized that I have to be committed to creating unique podcast episodes that help me work on my mind body spirit and in this case spiritual value and help you work on your mind body spiritual spiritual values. This exercise helped me on earth three values namely unconditional love inner peace and expanded awareness even to think about it that these are three spiritual values. See I pray I pray to God I chance slow cause I sing songs whatever it is many things I do the rituals but then to think of a spiritual value no I never did that. This exercise prompted me to do it and I think it's brilliant because it is helping me in running my meaningful day to day life.
So if I had not done this exercise that I would never have given attention to even think of these values and consciously work on them. As I have done written exercises my subconscious mind is planted with an urge to practice these three values what are the three values I am thinking of unconditional love expanded awareness and inner peace. And organically I am becoming aware and doing my best to put these three spiritual values and conditional love inner peace and expanded awareness into use in my daily life. I am consciously praying for something when I hear something when I hear something deeper desire or consciously being there for a person giving the time giving the attention and looking for the unconditional love in the process.
And then looking for my own expanded awareness where I become more conscious more aware and things like that. So when I moved meter I remember discussing this in one of my episodes. And make my day more meaningful like you know my centering thought I'm going to repeat it again I choose to do my best to practice unconditional love inner peace is my source of happiness and prosperity expanded awareness connects me to the unknown and gives me solutions to problems easily and effortlessly. Now it's your turn go back to the question one and listen to the list of the spiritual values suggested there choose one value and create a centering thought around that value then make conscious efforts to practice the value for the next 21 days.
Then choose another one and repeat I promise you you will be in awe for your evolving self and live a very meaningful and very inspired life happy and rich inspired life.
