Have You Experienced God's Presence? | God's Presence | Acts 7:37-50 | with Pastor Joshua Sanders

Have any of you ever been to a famous landmark and felt a sense of awe and wonder? Maybe it was a towering cathedral, a majestic mountain, or a serene beach at sunset. When we find ourselves in these types of special places, we can quite often feel closer to something greater than ourselves. It’s as if we feel closer to God in those places. Now... Have you ever felt like you needed to be in a special place to truly connect with God? Perhaps it's the altar at church, or a quiet corner in your home, or even a scenic spot in nature. Now, while these places can indeed be special, in this sermon we want to challenge the notion that we have to be in a special place to experience the presence of God. And in this sermon, we dive into Acts 7:37-50. And in this passage, Stephen is going to continue his sermon to the Sanhedrin. And as he continues to deliver his profound message to the religious leaders, he is going to remind them that God's presence cannot be confined to any one place. We hear him tell the story of Israel's history to show that God has always been with His people, regardless of their location. And what we will learn in this sermon is that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, we can carry His presence with us in our daily lives, wherever we go.
