Have You Experienced GREAT Joy? | Great Joy | Acts 8:1-8 | with Pastor Joshua Sanders

We all have things in our lives that bring us joy. For some of us, the rolls at Texas Roadhouse with that cinnamon honey butter brings us joy. For some of us, going to the beach on a vacation during the summer brings us joy. For some of us, reeling in a big fish on the end of a baited hook brings us joy. But for many people, simply spending time with loved ones, achieving a personal goal, or enjoying a beautiful day outside is enough to bring us joy. Joy has a way of lifting our spirits, giving us hope, and making life feel abundant and meaningful! But what if there is a source of joy that surpasses all these experiences? A joy so powerful that it changes lives and even entire communities. This joy comes from the Good News of Jesus Christ—the Gospel. And in this sermon, we dive into Acts 8:1-8. This passage shows us that even in the midst of persecution and scattering, the early Christians found and shared this incredible source of joy. And what we will learn through the ministry of Philip in Samaria, is that as we GET AFTER IT for the expanding of the Kingdom of God, the Gospel brings great joy wherever it is received
