Have you met Ms. Danielle Kates-van den Hoek?

In this week's episode, we feature Ontario High School Teacher, Ms. Danielle Kates-van den Hoek. Danielle is an Ontario Certified Teacher at a high school in the Greater Toronto Area. Danielle was known by her own teachers from an early age for being a strong student, particularly in the subject of English. Inspired by one of her own high school English teachers, she obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2010. Still intent on becoming a teacher herself, she added a Bachelor of Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto to her resume. Danielle was hired on as a supply teacher by two school boards in 2014 and 2015.
