In Episode 2 in Season 3 of "C.A.R.s, Coffee, & Christ", our team gathers to discuss the need for, and challenges faced, as it comes to “Having a Growth Mindset”. How do people truly grow? Is learning and knowledge enough? Why is growth so important as a person, and what holds us back from it?After discussing the importance between knowing truth and applying it, the group talks about how God designs both humbling and suffering as ways to get our attention and reorient our lives to grow, both as people, and as believers. The reason God does it this way is because, by nature we work for self-sufficiency, to not need God.The group finishes by sharing personal stories of how God has continued to work in their lives, refining them toward Christlikeness, and having a growth mindset about life.
