‘The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.’(Psalm 34:18) 2021 might not have delivered the fresh new start that many of us had hoped for, but we can walk through this year knowing that we never go through our struggles alone. Katherine Chow encouraged us with the truth that Jesus sees us, weeps with us and longs to draw close to us. When we feel crushed, alone or lost, we can look to the redeeming power of the Cross – a dark moment used by God to accomplish His good purposes. As He did then, so too with us – the Lord will bring about something beautiful as we fight our battles with Him.
