Havoc (2005)
from The Childish Grownups Show Hosted by Ash, Mia and Mo
Havoc follows Allison (Anne Hathaway) and Emily, two privileged Los Angeles teenagers who become fascinated with hip-hop culture and begin imitating the lifestyle they romanticize. As they venture into dangerous neighborhoods and become involved with a local gang, what starts as rebellion quickly spirals into violence, betrayal, and life-altering consequences. The film explores themes of identity, class, race, cultural appropriation, and the harsh realities that lie beyond the sheltered world the girls once knew.
