Hawkeyes Face Big Tests This Weekend

Iowa Hawkeyes are firing on all cylinders this November 15th, with football hosting Purdue, and both men’s and women’s basketball playing big games on the same day—men’s squad takes on Creighton in Des Moines, while the women’s team battles powerhouse Vanderbilt in Sioux City. Vanderbilt’s 29-win season and Sweet 16 run last year signal Jan Jensen’s serious push to build a deep tournament contender. With road games against UConn and in-state rivals like Iowa State and Drake, this non-conference gauntlet is designed to test the Hawkeyes early—and fans are in for a thrilling stretch.
