Hawley Rises as Abortion Movement’s New Hope | US News

Anti-abortion strategists are eyeing Senator Josh Hawley as a 2028 GOP presidential dark horse, citing his aggressive stance on mifepristone and legal battles against abortion access — a contrast to VP JD Vance’s quieter approach. Hawley’s wife, an attorney in anti-abortion litigation, and his own legislative efforts to revoke mifepristone approval and enable lawsuits are seen as major wins for the movement, especially as key victories like Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood expire and FDA delays stall progress. While supporters hail his consistency, critics warn that abortion alone won’t secure a GOP nomination — with Trump still dominating evangelical support despite a slight dip in favorability. The race for the movement’s next leader is heating up. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
