from Heritage Boatworks Podcast - Exploring, Preserving, and Promoting New England Boat Building · host Jed Lavoie

Welcome to Heritage Boatworks Podcast #3.  This is the first podcast of its kind to travel the back roads and harbors of New England to share the stories, techniques, passion, and creativity of boat builders of all types and sizes.  In this episode we travel to Amesbury, MA to interview Graham McKay.  This is part 1 of a 2 part interview.  Graham is the head builder at Lowell's Boat Shop in Amesbury, MA.  He has been around wooden boats all his life from his Dyer Dhow dinghy in his youth to sailing and maintaining tall ships.  A touch of fate brought him back to his roots at Lowell's Boat Shop.
