HBW 007 - Geoff Marshall Interview

from Heritage Boatworks Podcast - Exploring, Preserving, and Promoting New England Boat Building · host Jed Lavoie

Welcome to Heritage Boatworks Podcast #7.  This is the first podcast of its kind to travel the back roads and harbors of New England to share the stories, techniques, passion, and creativity of boat builders of all types and sizes.  In this episode we travel to South Dartmouth, MA to interview Geoff Marshall or Marshall Marine.  Geoff is the owner of Marshall Marine and they have been producing fiberglass catboats since the early 60's.  The Marshall Catboat was the first fiberglass catboat to be produced and has been quite successful despite it's early criticism in moving away from wood construction.
