(NSFW) In this episode, the Hoppy Craftsmen are on location at Patent 139, one of Chandler's newest breweries. They sit down with the owner, Tim Hass, and chat about how his family legacy helped shape his path to opening Patent 139 Brewing. Of course, they put him through the rapid round, which, as always, wasn't so rapid. The guys then delve into Tim's background of working at high-end resorts and restaurants, including his time at Ballast Point Brewing, where he was involved in the remodeling and opening of its Long Beach location before eventually being placed at Ballast Point's location at the Happiest Place on Earth. But that's not all – the guys also learn how Tim returned to the Valley of the Sun and how the idea of opening a brewery came into play. And, as an added bonus, Tim shares the meaning behind the name Patent 139, which refers to his grandfather's invention of the Hass avocado.
