He always wanted to go.

from Turning our Hearts · host Turning our Hearts

He’s 16, and his story is probably not what you’d expect. He was baptized at eight, but church was never really a regular part of his life. Sometimes he chose Call of Duty. Sometimes life just got in the way. But somehow, people kept inviting him. A friend of his dad invited him. Then a teacher invited him. Then his friend’s family. And little by little, church became somewhere he actually wanted to be. In this episode, we talk about faith, fear, belonging, and the little things that made him feel like Heavenly Father knew him. He also tells me about a prayer he said when he was struggling and the answer that came almost immediately. His story made me think about how Heavenly Father sometimes works through people without us even realizing it. Sometimes all it takes is an invitation.
