He Leads Us in the Paths of Righteousness | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

from Psalms23Wave · host Mathew Sekanjako

This is Day Twenty-Six of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. Today, we meditate on the profound promise of Psalm 23: that YHWH restores our soul. We recognize that this restoration is not merely for our comfort, but for His name’s sake. He is leading us back to the original glory and the likeness we held in the beginning in a state of perfect alignment with His will.We are reminded that as the Farmer prunes the branch to ensure it bears more fruit, the Lord prunes our lives to reveal the "new creature" within. In Christ, the old has passed away and every single thing has become of God. We yield to the Great Shepherd, trusting that even the paths of discipline are paths of righteousness that manifest His glory through us.We now yield to this presence in prayer. We open our hearts to the immersion of the Father, asking that the Life of The Son flows through us. Let us position ourselves as living temples, ready to receive the counsel and the divine steadfastness that only the Holy Spirit can provide as we intercede in faith.Prayer & Reflection Scriptures (NKJV)Psalm 23:1–6“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”John 15:1–2, 5“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit... I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”2 Corinthians 5:17–18“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ.”Ephesians 4:24“And that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”There is One true God, the Creator of all things, revealed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There is One God and One Spirit Who has redeemed us all. I am Mathew Sekanjako, a believer in Y’shua HaMashiach, the one Son of God. I serve and confess God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. This intercession is offered in faith, in obedience, and in love, for all who will listen.
