He Prepares a Place for You

There is something in all of us that longs for things to be made right. We feel it when grief lingers, when injustice goes unanswered, or when life simply doesn’t unfold the way we hoped. Deep down, we know this world is not as it should be. Jesus speaks directly into that longing in John 14:3: “I go and prepare a place for you… that you also may be where I am.” This is not just a comforting thought—it is a promise. While we experience glimpses of God’s goodness here on earth, they are only previews of what is to come. The fullness of joy, peace, and restoration is still ahead. God is actively preparing a place where brokenness will be healed, sorrow will be lifted, and everything wrong will be made right. Holding onto this truth changes how we live today.
