He was Made Poor

Series Title: God’s Plan of Salvation Series Summary: Harbor City Church is entering into another season of Advent, looking at New Testament passages describing what Jesus was made for so we can meditate on who he is and why he came. Passages: 2 Corinthians 8:1-9 This second message in our Advent season, we focus on what Jesus was made for and in this passage we see he was made poor. Paul shares that one of his responsibilities included collecting money to assist the church in Jerusalem (for unknown circumstances).
