On this day of Gaia, I, King Zerith, put forth the law of  my heir: Prince Zayn Elijah De’Monté. The remaining heir to Du’Pointe must be under strict regulations until he is of age to take the throne. He is to attend to the castle’s needs, fill in where necessary, tend to the people's wishes, and do what must be done to keep the royal crown’s integrity intact. The king’s rule, under any circumstance will override any of the heir’s whilst he is away. Any act of defiance will be considered as the highest form of treason and shall be executed under pretenses of Forsaking the Crown. Forms of treason consist of; going against the ruling king’s wishes, being the cause of a kingdom wide scandal, becoming renegade, or creating political imbalances are cause for execution.  If the crown, by any means, is forsaken, rules and regulations are set in place for the heir’s execution - Zayn De’Monté knows deep down that he’ll never be the hero of his own story. His story ended years ago, at age sixteen where he witnessed the death of his sister. It should’ve been him. So he’ll brush off the gossip mongers who say the worst, calling him evil, insane, possessed. He isn’t willing to live a life anymore, he’s surviving.
