Search his name on google & some of the most instantly-recognizable images from films will pop up. Movies such as Star Wars, Avengers, Indiana Jones, Ready Player One... the list goes on and continues to grow. Continuing in the tradition of artists such as Drew Struzan, Norman Rockwell, and JC Leyndecker before him, Paul Shipper creates art that is somehow both photo-realistic and fantastical in how it's received. Here, he talks about his formative years as an artist, his process, and how he approaches client work.
