Head Over Heart

It’s possible to know a lot about God and still have a heart that’s never experienced Him. Head knowledge is truth on the outside; heart knowledge is that same truth moved inside, until it’s not just something you know but something you are.The trouble, Blake explains, is that head knowledge is easy and everywhere — a sermon, a study, a podcast, another book — while heart knowledge is mysterious, messy, and slow, found in the places we tend to avoid.
