If you get frequent headaches you might consider a magnesium supplement. Magnesium is one of the most successful headache remedies, first of all, because it’s much safer than taking a painkiller. There is strong evidence that magnesium deficiency is much more prevalent in migraine sufferers than in healthy controls. Taking 200–600 mg of magnesium a day can reduce the frequency of headache attacks.
