In France, Paulo Fonseca has been hit with a jaw-dropping suspension after a run-in with a Ligue 1 referee last weekend. The Lyon manager has been issued a 9-month suspension for confronting the match referee during Lyon's win against Brest. The ban will prevent Fonseca from being on the bench or participating in any official functions before, during, or after matches until November 30th.
