Healing a Marriage with Mike and Vedya Canales | The Importance of Vulnerability
from The Observatory | Discovery of Consciousness & Awareness · host The Observatory Podcast
Today our guests are Mike and Vedya Canales. They delve into their relationship, into some of the things that they are doing in the medicine space, and into the energy work that they’re doing. They got into marriage counseling which has taught them some good things, such as sending each other texts saying they’re thinking about them, which is something that they hadn’t been doing for a long time. Mike struggles with anger and Vedya struggles with abandonment, which both create a recipe for disaster, but their therapist has been able to work with them and save their marriage. In the old days, people stayed together because they had the attitude of “this is just the way it is.” But nowadays, the general thinking in society has changed and if someone is unfaithful, the other most likely won’t stay with that person. People now have to choose to work on their marriage and be willing to change if they want things to work.
