Healing After Suicide Loss | From Delaying Awareness to Receiving Awareness
from Healing After Suicide Loss with Jon Leclerc, The Suicide Loss Coach | MUSIC ;n HEAL · host Jon Leclerc, The Suicide Loss Coach
My dear fellow suicide loss survivor,This message is for suicide loss survivors seeking healing, emotional safety, and hopeful support after loss.In today's episode, we explore something many survivors experience after loss: Something keeps coming into awareness, but we keep delaying, dismissing, or avoiding what it's trying to show us.After suicide loss, awareness can feel uncomfortable. It may show us that a habit isn't helping anymore, a coping strategy is keeping us stuck, our body needs rest, our nervous system needs support, or a grief layer needs attention. That doesn't mean we're failing; it means awareness is knocking. For a long time, I delayed the awareness my healing was trying to show me. I would notice something, feel something, sense something, and then push it away or tell myself I'd deal with it later. But healing began shifting when I realized that delaying awareness can delay the whole healing path.In this episode, I share how receiving awareness supports the MUSIC ;n HEAL Healing Path:AwarenessDiscernmentRegulationIntegrationYou'll hear why awareness is the first knock on the door, why delaying awareness can delay discernment, regulation, integration, and healing, and why receiving awareness doesn't mean you have to change everything all at once. This episode reflects the MUSIC ;n HEAL Approach as a trauma-informed, survivor-led pathway to emotional safety, suicide loss support, nervous system regulation, spiritual connection with our Soul Angel(s), healing habits, music medicine, and post-traumatic growth after suicide loss. You'll learn:✨ why awareness can feel hard to receive after suicide loss✨ how delaying awareness can delay the rest of the healing path✨ why awareness isn't here to shame us, but to guide us✨ how small examples like coffee, phone use, or delayed expression can affect healing✨ how one honest sentence, one pause, or one Soul Angel connection can help us receive awareness gentlyThis episode is for suicide loss survivors seeking healing after suicide loss through gentle, trauma-informed support.
