Healing Ancestral Wounds through Birth and choosing Life after Miscarriage

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Joanna Joanna is a mum of 3, 2 living children and a baby who left already in the first trimester.  She’s originally from Poland but now lives in the UK.  She works as a project manager for a building control company, however she has now trained to be an NLP and Hypnobirthing coach.. Joanna had her first daughter 10 years ago in a medicalized birth she describes as traumatic.  In this episode we talk about the healing journey she took after that birth which went farther than her own traumatic birth and ended up reaching far back into her ancestral linage and beyond.  When she was finally ready to get pregnant again after 8 years she ended up having a miscarriage that spiraled her into a deep depression before she had her turning point and decided to live and be happy. That’s when her and her partner decided to try again and finally fell pregnant to her baby girl that she birthed just 3 weeks ago. This baby was born at home, in water, while Joannas 10 year old daughter was watching.  Throughout Joannas story, the healing of the feminine is a red thread. From the healing of her matriarchal linage, to gifting her daughter the gift of both witnessing a miscarriage and understanding that death too is part of life and then witnessing her mother in her sovereign power birthing her baby sister.
