Healing is a Radical Act of Leadership with Gary Montalvo (67)
from Voices of Healing · host Tina Kinney Clarke
About Gary Montalvo:Growing up as the gay son of Dominican immigrants, I learned to survive by shrinking myself, working hard, and keeping my head down. While that helped me “succeed” — graduating top of my class and becoming an Art Director at Sony BMG by 22, it came at the cost of my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.Learning to lead myself helped me begin to reclaim my life. But it wasn’t until I started walking a spiritual path and integrating healing modalities like breathwork, energy healing, shadow integration, plant medicine, spiritual mentorship and just paying attention to my body, that I began unlocking levels of clarity, trust, and inner leadership I didn’t know were possible.I think it would be interesting to explore with your audience how choosing your healing is a radical act of leadership. It requires courage, presence, patience, emotional self-trust, and above all, deep love. That’s leadership too.Gary's BioGary Montalvo is a Leadership and Mindset Coach who’s been the powerhouse behind business strategies and leadership growth for values-based solopreneurs, startups, organizations, and corporations internationally for nearly two decades. Most recently, he’s worked with LimeLife by Alcone as the Chief Growth Officer, where he worked on the sales and recruitment strategies for the company globally.
