 Healing, Miracles, Deliverance The Holy Ghost power and gifts are the channels which God uses to pour out His majestic power; while the world arms with physical power, God wants the church to put on His armor of Spiritual might, that His glory may be seen in the earth. “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts,” (Zech.4: 6). “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power; that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God,” (I Cor. 2:4, 5). “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same spirit; to another faith by the same spirit; to another gifts of healing by the same spirit; to another working of miracles . . . But all these worketh that one and the self same spirit . . .” (1 Cor. 12:8-11).
