Healing takes as long as it takes - Monique Lanier Ep 116

Monique Lanier is an artist and learner. She writes music. She is a photographer. She designs scarves and bodywear. She creates herbal magic. She has acted on stage and in TV and film. She is currently studying comparative religion online and plans on pursuing this field until she receives her Ph.D.She has experienced childhood traumas, teenage and adult traumas. She has raised a beautiful daughter who was unbelievably fragile due to birth defects and extensive complications. She is thriving now. Being her mother is the most rewarding experience of her life. She had a hemorrhagic stroke from a lesion in her brain. It is still there and periodically bleeds.  She has navigated lifelong depression, PTSD, anxiety and the like. She was forced to leave college because of the stroke – one of the greatest losses as she could not read for a long time. Obviously she can now as she is back in school.
