Healing the special relationship (Communicating towards The Answer-4)

We are shown in this meeting what our understanding about special relationship conveys in our transformation. Some specific questions related to idolatry and the self concept will be looked at, e.g. where we make an identity seemingly outside of ourselves responsible for our own happiness and salvation. Therefore, the ego mind continues to avoid finding the answer where it really is. Its mind-set does not see the brother as what he/she really is, and instead of joining in the Holy Relationship, it holds the brother even as a hostage, setting it up that the "other" must make us feel good and be the answer to all issues as they present themselves. We are looking at this expression of ego relationships and offer it to the Holy Spirit.Jesus teaches us in A Course in Miracles that we can change our mind in regard to this limited thinking, and offers us a new basis of relating with Him inside our Heart and Soul.
