The company's mission is to empower clients who are successful yet achy, stiff and stressed find freedom in their bodies and minds through intentional movement and mindfulness.  Maria’s experiences in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship position her uniquely in the Workplace Wellness space as a dynamic motivator and educator. Maria supports organizations in their effort to produce happier, more focused, and productive leaders and employees. Maria firmly believes leadership starts from within. Maria has personally transformed her life - shedding anxiety and social expectations and embracing a life of purpose. Prior to founding Rebellious Intl, Maria was a Finance Director and a professional with 17+ years of progressive corporate experience in the Telecommunications, Finance and Insurance industries. Born in Bulgaria, Maria moved to the United States in 1992. She graduated summa cum laude from both the University of Georgia (BBA, Finance) and Georgia State University (MBA, Finance).  Outside of Pilates, Maria stays busy balancing family and her entrepreneurial life. Maria’s favorite job is being a mom to her 10-year-old daughter, Sofia. Maria enjoys learning, working out, Latin dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
