Healing Trust Issues with Masculine Energies

We’ve all had negative experiences of the masculine brought on by imbalanced expressions of strength and power and the domination and control of the patriarchy. These events leave us feeling uneasy, unsafe, and even angry. We hesitate to express our own strength, power, and control because we’ve had so many experiences of the “wrong way” to use them, so we label them as “bad” and shut ourselves down. Yet we all carry these energies inside of us. Just like all of our human traits, these energies have a higher expression and a lower expression. These traits in their higher expression are not “bad.” So what is the sacred role of the Masculine? We cannot have a healthy Divine Feminine and ignore or demonize the masculine. We need to understand the highest expression of the sacred Masculine energy and bring our relationship with both masculine and feminine into harmony, into a unifying connection.
