Healing with Reggie Walker & Tony Taylor

It was such an honor meeting and sharing space with NFL Veteran Reggie Walker. It was surreal talking to someone that I once played on the popular video game series Madden.  I really love my job! I get to meet some cool people!  My biggest takeaway from everyone that I have met through Leaders Lead is that everyone is overcoming or has overcome adversity.  I love learning about how the industry leaders that have overcome their professional a personal obstacles. Reggie is a former NFL linebacker. He was in the league for a total of 7 years. 7 years is a lifetime for most NFL players. Reggie has the heart of a lion and is the epitome of leadership. I knew there was something special about this dude and I’m not talking about his killer ability to shut down an offense. Reggie is a leader. I believe that all true leaders have been through some sort of adversity. This is leadership. Reggie’s adversity started long before he put on a pair of cleats.   He has been through some pretty traumatic experiences. Reggie is the survivor of sexual abuse, but his story does not stop there. Reggie uses his experiences to empower others.
