Healling Through Brokeness

from #thereisaword · host Rev. Dr. Edwina D. Perrin

We often try to hide our brokenness or pretend it does not exist. However, true healing begins when we acknowledge our wounds. Just as a potter cannot reshape a broken vessel without first recognizing its cracks, we must be willing to face our pain honestly. It is in this surrender that we create space for restoration.'But he was pierced for our transgressions;    he was crushed for our iniquities;upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,    and with his wounds we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
