Waterloo Regional Police said the damaged cables were found near Speedsville Road and Royal Oak Road at approximately 2:30 p.m. The damage caused significant connectivity problems, prompting repair crews to work through Friday afternoon, evening, and overnight. Service was restored by Saturday morning. Police reported that nothing appeared to have been stolen and launched an investigation to identify the person or people responsible for damaging the cables. Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay is preparing to open its first Canadian location at The Well in downtown Toronto, marking the beginning of a much larger expansion into the Canadian market.
