The United Nations has confirmed that South African President Jacob Zuma, and his French counterpart Francois Hollande will head a new High Level Commission on Health Employment and Economic Growth. Earlier, the Presidency released a statement announcing the appointments, pre-empting an official statement by the UN Secretariat in New York. The Commission will focus on implementing post-2015 sustainable development agenda through growing health workforces in low to middle income countries and the question of inclusive economic growth globally. Sherwin Bryce-Pease reports.
