She is the author of the book, "Simple Guide to Holistic Health: Lessons Learned from my Personal Journey".  Dr. King describes herself as a teacher. Dr. King is the CEO and founder of International Holistic Center (IHC). In 2012 Dr. King also launched Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick™, Inc. to support professional women in achieving health, wealth, happiness and purpose.
