Health On Ice – with Maria Ensabella of LondonCryo

from The Steven Sulley Study Podcast · host Steven Sulley

This time on the podcast, Steven talks to Maria Ensabella, the owner and founder of LondonCryo, a pioneering London centre, who aim to provide pain relief, sports recovery, slimming, toning, and other health benefits through cryotherapy.   Maria discusses her journey into this highly popular form of treatment, how it works, and her goals, beliefs, and vision for the future.   KEY TAKEAWAYS   Tony Robbins and Floyd Mayweather are proponents of cryotherapy. It can reduce stress, help with inflammation and is generally used for sports therapy.   You need to believe in what you’re doing. You can have tough days, and it can take a while to engage with people, especially if you are in the business of a new and unfamiliar form of treatment. But belief will keep you going, and will eventually steer you towards success.   Culture is vital to the growth of a business. Happiness and friendliness will make you memorable, and will make clients feel at home and comfortable.   LondonCryo’s vision is to grow another eight locations within the next three to four years. Investment and partnership will be required.   As long as you’re open to advice and new experiences, the right people will come into your life. Listening to the wisdom and experiences of others help you to grow.   Cryotherapy works when cold air causes blood to rush to the surface of the body, bringing the oxygen with it, which starts the body’s recovery process. When you are subjected to these temperatures, it causes the blood vessels to close up. The brain then sends a message to the blood, which rushes to protect your internal organs.    The diet is more important than exercise, unless you’re an athlete. Sleep is also highly vital, and we should all be getting 7 - 8 hours of sleep per night.   BEST MOMENTS   ‘I could joke that I love rain and grey clouds!’   ‘Being able to tell a story is paramount’   ’Being willing to learn is very important’   ‘Anyone can be content, but you need to achieve more'     VALUABLE RESOURCES   The Steven Sulley Study Podcast  LondonCryo - https://www.londoncryo.com/our-services Bulletproof - https://www.bulletproof.com/recipes/bulletproof-diet-recipes/bulletproof-coffee-recipe/ LondonCryo Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/londoncryo/ LondonCryo Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/LondonCryotherapy/ LondonCryo Twitter - https://twitter.com/londoncryo LondonCryo LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/company/londoncryo/     ABOUT THE HOST   The Steven Sulley Study is my take on success.
