Episode Description
The Wits School of Public Health in South Africa together with other partners recently hosted a convention on decolonizing health systems in Africa - which they say are predominantly westernized amidst the existence of alternative healing systems in Africa. Among other things, the virtual event was aimed at providing a platform for conversations to build solidarity across Africa and to eradicate colonial-imposed divides in health systems on the continent. To discuss this further, Zikhona Miso spoke to Shehnaz Munshi , a Lecturer in the Wits School of Public Health..
