HealthForce Ep 112 - How COVID Impacts The Overweight & Obese

from HealthForce Podcast · host Francis Ramsden

One thing that has become increasingly clear about the COVID19 outbreak, is that it most severely affects those who are older and/or have other health constraints. Age is one of them, but that is not in our control. One major factor that is in our control however, is our fitness. COVID is having a larger effect on obese individuals according to the data that we have.  Unfortunately, we take our health for granted. It takes a catastrophic event in order to wake us up and to get serious about fitness. This is pathetic and should not be required in order for us to care about fitness. Working out & eating well are such simple concepts, but they require time, effort, money, and prioritization.
