HealthForce Memo Ep 036 - How To Use Research Studies In An Argument

from HealthForce Podcast · host Francis Ramsden

Context context context. I'm a big fan of repeated three word sentences? Seems so. Everyone wants to debate and cite research nowadays. The issue is most of us hardly do it appropriately or accurately. You don't just get to say "well ONE study showed...." and presto.....everyone believes you. No no no. It is about the overall body of research. Lean on peer reviews and meta-analyses. Understand that sometimes research is also inconclusive.....or done poorly.
