Guilford County Schools is rolling out a game-changing initiative called “Healthy Connections for School Readiness,” teaming up with UNCG’s Minerva Mobile Clinic, the County Department of Public Health, and local housing authorities to bring essential health services straight to kids’ neighborhoods. From pre-K through 12th grade, families can get health assessments, sports physicals, immunizations, and school registrations—all in one place—before the new school year starts.
